第一則:美對等關稅遭否決 台美優惠待遇不變

美國最高法院裁定,川普依《國際緊急經濟權力法》課徵的對等關稅違法。行政院副院長鄭麗君表示,此裁定不影響台美投資合作備忘錄取得的關稅優惠,包括汽車與航空器零組件待遇不變。

鄭麗君指出,台美對等貿易協定已確立 15% 關稅且不疊加,並有逾 2,000 項產品豁免。政府將待與美方確認後,將協定與影響評估一併送交國會審議。

U.S. Reciprocal Tariffs Rejected, Taiwan-U.S. Preferential Treatment Remains Unchanged

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the reciprocal tariffs imposed by former President Donald Trump under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act were unlawful. Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan Cheng Li-Chiun said that the ruling does not affect the tariff benefits secured under the Taiwan-U.S. Investment Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding, including unchanged treatment for auto parts and aircraft components.

Cheng said that the Taiwan-U.S. Agreement on Reciprocal Trade has confirmed a 15 percent tariff rate without stacking and exemptions for more than 2,000 products. The government will submit the agreement and the impact assessment to the legislature after confirming details with the United States.

第二則:北捷遭恐嚇隨機攻擊 警方持盾清查虛驚一場

台北捷運松山新店線於 2 月 23 日接獲通報,有人揚言在南京三民站至松山站間持刀隨機攻擊。警方立即派員進站清查,並有民眾目擊員警持盾牌進入月台,引發緊張氣氛。

經過檢查現場無人受傷,也未發現危險物品,列車營運未受影響。警方後續追查發現,通報男子曾多次謊報恐嚇,將依公共危安相關罪嫌偵辦,並呼籲民眾勿以身試法。

Random Attack Threat on Taipei Metro, Police Clear Station With Shields in False Alarm

The Songshan–Xindian Line of the Taipei Metro received a report on February 23 that someone had threatened to carry out a random knife attack between Nanjing Sanmin Station and Songshan Station. Police immediately entered the station to conduct a search, and some passengers saw officers carrying shields onto the platform, causing tension at the scene.

After inspection, no one was injured and no dangerous items were found, and train operations were not affected. Police later found that the man who made the report had a record of repeated false threats and will be investigated under laws related to public safety, and authorities urged the public not to break the law.
