第一則：鄭習會後中共推十項涉台措施 恐成統戰工具
國台辦在鄭麗文結束訪中行程後公布十項涉台政策，包括恢復上海與福建居民赴台自由行，同時推動兩岸客運直航、國共常態化溝通與青年交流，並延伸至金馬與福建基礎設施互通、台灣農漁產品輸入便利，以及影視內容與微短劇合作交流等項目。
然而，陸委會副主委沈有忠對此提出警示，這些惠台政策是中共隨時可收放的統戰工具，為了重塑台灣對中國的依賴，且部分項目仍需兩岸進一步磋商。
Beijing Announces Ten Measures for Taiwan After Cheng-Xi Meeting; Concerns Arise Over "United Front" Tools
The Taiwan Affairs Office announced ten policy measures related to Taiwan after Cheng Li-wen ended her visit to China. These include restoring individual travel for residents of Shanghai and Fujian to Taiwan, while promoting cross-strait passenger flights, regular communication between the CPC and KMT, and youth exchanges. The measures also extend to connecting infrastructure between Kinmen, Matsu, and Fujian, easing the import of Taiwanese agricultural and fishery products, and cooperating on film, television, and micro-drama projects.
However, Shen Yu-chung, Deputy Minister of the Mainland Affairs Council, issued a warning regarding this. He stated that these “preferential policies for Taiwan” are united front tools that the CPC can give or take away at any time to reshape Taiwan’s dependence on China. Furthermore, some of these projects still require further consultation between both sides of the strait.

Trump Blocks the Strait of Hormuz! Iran Responds Firmly
Because the US-Iran ceasefire negotiations failed, US President Trump ordered the US military to block the Strait of Hormuz. This measure will apply to military vessels of all nationalities, including those entering and leaving Iranian ports and coastal areas, but it states that the strait remains open for the safe passage of non-military ships.
Iran warned that any warship approaching the Strait of Hormuz will be seen as violating the ceasefire agreement. Trump made a rare response, stating that oil prices will continue to soar until the midterm elections in November.

Hungary held a parliamentary election on April 12, and political newcomer Peter Magyar won a historic victory. Prime Minister Orban, who has been in power for sixteen years, has already admitted defeat and congratulated the winning party.
Hungarian voters used their ballots to choose to return to the mainstream democratic values of the European Union. The new government is expected to improve relations with the EU, and it may strengthen sanctions against Russia as well as aid to Ukraine.

統一集團於去年以 301 億元收購台灣家樂福，並決定終止與法國家樂福的品牌授權合約。內部文件顯示，家福公司已規劃更名為「康達盛通生活事業股份有限公司」，目前僅在公司內部使用。
統一集團計畫於今年中起更換全台近 400 家量販與超市門市招牌。不過，新品牌名稱仍待統一集團正式對外公布。
Uni-President Acquires Carrefour Taiwan, Rumored New Name “Kang Da Sheng Tong”
Uni-President Group acquired Carrefour Taiwan last year for NT$30.1 billion and decided to end the brand licensing agreement with Carrefour France. Internal documents show that the company has planned to change its name to “Kang Da Sheng Tong Lifestyle Corporation,” and the name is currently used only inside the company.
Uni-President Group plans to replace the store signs of nearly 400 hypermarkets and supermarkets across Taiwan starting in the middle of this year. However, the new brand name has not yet been officially announced by Uni-President Group.
