美國國務卿魯比歐於 6 月 3 日在聽證會上澄清，高達 140 億美元的對台軍售案正在接受內部審查，並非謠傳的「暫停」，他也強調，美方在軍售上不會去徵詢中國的意見。

Marco Rubio, the U.S. Secretary of State, clarified at a hearing on June 3 that a proposed arms sale to Taiwan worth up to $14 billion is currently undergoing an internal review and has not been “paused,” as some rumors have claimed. He also stressed that the United States will not consult China on arms sales to Taiwan.
The Trump administration approved a massive $11.1 billion arms deal last December, prompting a strong reaction from Beijing. The current arms sale proposal also affects the U.S. defense industrial base, and officials say the administration will continue to balance multiple factors as it moves forward.

The U.S. State Department announced that Israel and Lebanon have agreed to a ceasefire. Under the agreement, Hezbollah must completely stop its attacks and withdraw from parts of southern Lebanon. The United States will also help the Lebanese military remove all armed groups that are not part of Lebanon’s regular armed forces.
However, the situation remains unstable. Before the agreement was announced, Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon killed at least nine people, while Hezbollah launched rockets into northern Israel. Israel and Lebanon have agreed to hold further talks on June 22 in hopes of reaching a broader agreement.
