美國總統川普表示，台灣同意於未來 20 年採購阿拉斯加 30 % 天然氣。經濟部證實中油規劃每年採購 600 萬噸天然氣並參與開發，預估最高投資 44 億美元，最快於 2032 年起開始供給。
此合作能縮短航運距離並分散風險，可進一步強化台灣能源韌性與深化台美合作。儘管學者提醒須審慎評估開發工程與政局變數，政府仍會透過多元採購策略，確保能源穩定供應。
Taiwan Plans to Buy Alaska Natural Gas, Up to $4.4 Billion in Investment on the Table
U.S. President Donald Trump said Taiwan has agreed to buy 30% of the natural gas from Alaska’s pipeline project over the next 20 years. Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs confirmed that CPC Corporation plans to purchase 6 million tons of natural gas each year and help develop the project. Taiwan could invest up to $4.4 billion, with gas deliveries expected to begin as early as 2032.
The deal could shorten shipping routes, reduce supply risks, strengthen Taiwan’s energy security, and deepen cooperation between Taiwan and the United States. However, experts have warned about construction challenges and possible changes in U.S. policies. The government plans to buy natural gas from different sources to ensure a stable energy supply.

Could Songshan Airport Become an AI Hub? National Defense and Emergency Services at Stake
Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an has proposed moving Songshan Airport and turning its 300-hectare site into an AI technology park, public parks, and residential areas. However, Taiwan’s defense and transportation ministries have raised concerns, saying the airport plays a key role in protecting the capital, handling domestic flights, carrying out emergency rescue missions, and transporting patients from outlying islands.
Shen Pao-yang said Songshan Airport plays an essential role in national defense and emergency medical services. He called for a detailed plan to maintain these services if the airport is relocated. As the proposal involves both national security and emergency services, it needs careful review to balance urban development with national defense.

新加坡當局證實，2 艘新加坡籍貨櫃船在荷莫茲海峽接連遭不明射彈擊中，1 艘起火沉沒、另 1 艘船體受損，所幸共 43 名船員皆安全，無人受傷。

Singapore-registered Container Ship Sinks After Mystery Attack, All 43 Crew Members Safe and Uninjured
Singaporean authorities confirmed that two Singapore-registered container ships were hit by unknown projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz. One ship caught fire and sank, while the other was damaged. All 43 crew members from both ships were safe, with no injuries reported.
All 21 crew members aboard the sunken ship, GFS Pride, were safely evacuated. The other ship, GFS Giselle, reached a safe anchorage under its own power. However, Iran claimed that a ship had struck a sea mine after entering a dangerous shipping route without permission. As tensions rise in the Strait of Hormuz, shipping safety in the region remains a growing concern.

MOS Burger Posts First Operating Loss, Why Has Made-to-Order Become a Burden?
MOS Burger’s parent company, An-Shin Food Services, reported more than NT 6 billion in revenue last year, but posted an operating loss of 14 million. Excluding the unusual pandemic year of 2021, this was its first operating loss since becoming a listed company. Besides rising costs, its made-to-order system is also struggling to keep up with digital orders.
During peak hours, large numbers of delivery and app orders arrive at the same time, while small kitchens slow down food preparation. Customers in a hurry may choose other options instead. Since MOS Burger is already relatively expensive and has limited room to raise prices, revenue growth is finding it harder to keep up with rising labor and food costs.

Mint often makes people feel cool, but it does not actually lower the body’s temperature. The real key is menthol, a compound in mint that activates TRPM8 in the nerves, sending a “cold” signal to the brain.
This mechanism is also used in toothpaste, chewing gum, throat lozenges, and pain relief ointments. Menthol does not change the actual temperature. Instead, it changes how the brain interprets sensations. It may even help athletes feel less hot in high temperatures and improve their performance.
