俄羅斯外海於7月30日發生規模8.8強震,堪察加半島出現3到5公尺海嘯。
On July 30, a powerful 8.8 earthquake struck off the coast of Russia. A 3 to 5 meter tsunami hit the Kamchatka Peninsula.
震央北方約450公里的克柳切夫火山隨後噴發,火光與滾燙熔岩不斷從火山西坡湧出。
About 450 kilometers north of the epicenter, the Klyuchevskoy volcano erupted. Bright flames and hot lava flowed down the west side of the mountain.
日本、夏威夷等地紛紛發布海嘯警報,7月31日因浪高低於預期而解除。
Japan, Hawaii, and other areas issued tsunami warnings. On July 31, the warnings were lifted as the waves were smaller than expected.
科學家先前預測火山噴發,指出火山口被熔岩填滿,並伴隨大量火山灰柱,後續仍須密切觀察。
Scientists had predicted the eruption. They said the crater was filling with lava and large ash clouds were rising. More observation is still needed.

美國總統川普於7月30日晚間宣布,美國與南韓達成全面貿易協議。
On the evening of July 30, US President Trump announced a comprehensive trade deal with South Korea.
南韓將對美國投資3,500億美元,並採購1,000億美元美國能源產品。
South Korea will invest 350 billion US dollars in the US. It will also buy 100 billion dollars of US energy products.
作為交換,美國對南韓進口商品的關稅將由25%降至15%。
In return, US tariffs on South Korean imports will drop from 25% to 15%.
川普日前已對20多個貿易夥伴發出關稅通知,而針對台灣的新稅率則尚未公布。
