第一則：金融系統接連出包 金管會要求業者檢討
國泰世華銀行 APP 於 4 月 10 日出現交易緩慢情形，影響換匯與交割等服務，並引發超過 400 件客訴。金管會表示，問題與系統負載平衡器故障有關，已要求國泰世華銀行在 4 月 21 日前提交調查報告並強化設備。
此外，台新證券在與元富證券完成系統整合後，也於 4 月 7 日與 4 月 14 日接連發生登入與交易異常。金管會指出，若投資人因系統問題造成損失，業者須負起相關責任。
Financial System Glitches Raise Concern, Financial Supervisory Commission Urges Review
Cathay United Bank’s mobile app experienced slow transactions on April 10, affecting services such as foreign exchange and settlement, and causing more than 400 customer complaints. The Financial Supervisory Commission said the problem was related to a malfunction in the system’s load balancer and has required the bank to submit an investigation report and strengthen its equipment before April 21.
In addition, Taishin Securities experienced login and trading abnormalities on April 7 and April 14 after completing its system integration with MasterLink Securities. The FSC stated that if investors suffer losses due to system problems, the company must take full responsibility.
第二則：南韓刪「中國台灣」標示 中國外交部表達不滿
南韓電子入境卡系統先前將台灣列為「中國台灣」，引發爭議。台灣外交部與駐外館處向韓方交涉後，南韓已刪除相關標示。
中國外交部表示，一個中國原則是國際關係的重要基礎，並稱台灣問題涉及 14 億中國人民的民族感情。我國外交部次長回應，中華民國台灣與中華人民共和國互不隸屬的事實，已獲多數國家理解與認知。
South Korea Removes “CHINA (TAIWAN)” Label, China Expresses Discontent
South Korea’s electronic arrival card system previously listed Taiwan as “CHINA (TAIWAN),” which caused controversy. After Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and overseas offices raised the issue with South Korea, the label was removed.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China said that the One China Principle is an important foundation of international relations and stated that the Taiwan issue concerns the national feelings of 1.4 billion Chinese people. Taiwan’s Deputy Minister responded that the fact that Taiwan and the People’s Republic of China are not subordinate to each other has been understood and recognized by many countries.

美國總統川普近日接受福斯新聞專訪時表示，美國對伊朗政權的軍事行動已經完成，並認為相關戰事「非常接近結束」。不過，美國與伊朗之間的緊張局勢仍未完全緩解。
先前雙方在巴基斯坦首都伊斯蘭馬巴德進行的永久停戰談判因伊朗拒絕放棄核計畫而破裂。川普隨後宣布，美國從 4 月 13 日起對伊朗港口實施海上封鎖。雙方目前仍在協商新一輪談判，最快可能在 4 月 16 日展開。
Trump Says Iran War May Be Ending, Middle East Tensions Remain
U.S. President Donald Trump said in a recent interview with Fox News that the United States has completed its military operations against the Iranian regime and believes the conflict is “very close to being over.” However, tensions between the United States and Iran have not fully eased.
Earlier talks on a permanent ceasefire held in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, collapsed after Iran refused to give up its nuclear program. Trump later announced that the United States will impose a naval blockade on Iranian ports starting April 13. Both sides are now discussing a new round of negotiations, which may begin as early as April 16.

Jensen Huang’s Favorite Hot Pot Brand Expands to Taipei After Opening 400 Stores in Three Years
The Chengdu hot pot brand “Feng Xiaozhang Old Hotpot” will open its first Taiwan store in Taipei Eastern District. The brand was founded in Chengdu in 2023 and has opened more than 400 stores worldwide within three years.
The brand became popular for its rich beef tallow soup base and authentic Sichuan-style dishes, and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has also visited the restaurant. The company said the key to its fast expansion is unique dishes, social media marketing, and a franchise system. The company also plans to open six stores in Taiwan in the next three years.
