第一則：川習會登場前夕引關注 美方重申對台政策不變
美國總統川普將於 5 月 14 日與中國國家主席習近平舉行會談，外交部長林佳龍表示，台灣政府正密切關注，並持續與美方保持溝通。他也指出，不論是美方的公開發言或非公開溝通，台灣都對台美關係穩定發展有信心。
此外，美國官員也重申對台政策不會改變。不過，美方同時對台灣部分防衛預算未納入最終版本表達失望，並希望原先規劃的相關資金後續仍能到位。
Ahead of the Trump-Xi Meeting, the United States Reaffirms That Its Taiwan Policy Will Not Change
U.S. President Donald Trump will hold a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on May 14. , Foreign Minister Lin Chia Lung said Taiwan is paying close attention to the situation and staying in contact with the United States. He also said Taiwan remains confident in the stable development of Taiwan-U.S. relations, whether through public statements or private communication from the U.S. side.
In addition, U.S. officials again said that U.S. policy towards Taiwan will not change. However, the United States also expressed disappointment that part of Taiwan’s defense budget was not included in the final version, and said it hopes the originally planned funding can still be secured later.
第二則：誠品南西鼠患事件 北市府要求加強清潔
誠品生活南西店發生老鼠掉落事件後，台北市政府於 5 月 11 日展開聯合稽查。環保局表示，老鼠可能是吃下鼠藥後出現口渴或意識混亂，現場也查出部分油煙防制設備仍有逸散，已要求業者加強清洗保養。
此外，衛生局與商業處也同步稽查美食街、垃圾清運及環境管理，要求業者落實食品防護與鼠害防治。北市府表示，後續將持續清潔消毒與巡查，降低鼠害與食安風險。
Taipei Orders Stronger Cleanup After Rat Incident at Eslite Nanxi
After a rat fell inside Eslite Spectrum Nanxi, the Taipei City Government launched a joint inspection on May 11. The Environmental Protection Bureau said the rat may have shown thirst or confusion after eating rat poison, and inspectors also found that part of the fume control equipment was still leaking. The city has ordered the business to strengthen cleaning and maintenance.
In addition, the Public Health Bureau and the Office of Commerce also inspected the food court, garbage removal, and environmental management. They asked the business to improve food protection and rat control. The Taipei City Government said it will continue cleanup and inspections to reduce rat problems and food safety risks.

根據伊朗官方媒體報導，伊朗已於 5 月 10 日透過巴基斯坦回覆美方結束衝突提案。美國總統川普同日表示他已看過內容，並指控伊朗是在拖延談判。

Iran Rejects the U.S. Ceasefire Proposal, Trump Says the Response Is Totally Unacceptable
According to Iranian state media, Iran sent its reply to the U.S. ceasefire proposal through Pakistan on May 10. U.S. President Donald Trump said on the same day that he had read the content and accused Iran of once again delaying the talks.
Iran said that dialogue does not mean surrender, and that its focus is to protect national interests and the rights of its people. Reports said Iran rejected the U.S. proposal and demanded full control over the Strait of Hormuz, the lifting of sanctions, and the release of frozen assets, showing that the gap between the two sides remains clear.
