輝達執行長黃仁勳已確認加入川普訪中企業代表團,外媒指出,他原本不在受邀名單內,川普看見相關報導與外界揣測後,親自致電邀請,黃仁勳隨即前往阿拉斯加,登上空軍一號會合。

川普此次率領十多位美國企業領袖前往北京,與習近平於 5 月 14 日、15 日展開會談。輝達表示黃仁勳應邀出席,以支持美國政府目標,白宮則低調回應行程剛好安排妥當。

A Last-Minute Call from Trump? Jensen Huang Joins China Delegation

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has confirmed he will join Trump’s business delegation to China. Foreign media reported that he was not originally on the guest list, but Trump personally called to invite him after seeing media coverage and public speculation. Huang then flew to Alaska and joined Trump aboard Air Force One.

Trump is leading more than one dozen U.S. business leaders to Beijing, where he is meeting Xi Jinping on May 14 and 15. Nvidia said Huang is attending at the president’s invitation to support the U.S. government’s goals. The White House gave only a brief response, saying the timing had simply worked out.

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio Rules Start Next Year! Taipei Veterans Hospital Chief Responds

Legislative Yuan recently passed changes to the Medical Care Act, adding nurse-to-patient ratios for three daily shifts to hospital standards. The Ministry of Health and Welfare had planned a two-year transition period, but nursing groups criticized the plan. President Lai Ching-te then announced that the policy will be phased in starting on May 20, 2027.

The head of Taipei Veterans General Hospital suggested using the hospital-wide average nurse-to-patient ratio, instead of calculating the ratio separately for each ward. He said wards differ in their specialties and patient needs, so hospitals need flexibility in staffing to maintain care quality and prevent uneven workloads.

The U.S. Senate confirmed Trump’s nominee, Warsh, as Federal Reserve chair by a 54-45 vote, making it the most divided confirmation for the role in history. During his hearing, Warsh defended the Fed’s independence, promised institutional reforms, and criticized the central bank for becoming too political in the past.

Warsh will take office facing high inflation and divisions inside the Fed. Rising prices have made a near-term rate cut less likely, while some officials are calling for rate hikes. At present, about sixty percent of orders come from reservations, which has improved operational efficiency.

He said that business transformation does not rely only on new product marketing. Companies also need to build a culture that encourages trying new ideas and fast innovation. Through digital tools, brand collaborations, and rapid product updates, Laya Burger has attracted consumer attention and achieved the highest revenue in the company’s history.
