第一則：TPASS預算卡關 北北基桃急催中央避免服務中斷
台北市府表示，今年中央TPASS補助尚未到位，各縣市現階段只能依靠去年約7億元的結餘支應，預估可維持到一月底。北市需負擔約30億元，其中一半仰賴中央補助。
市長蔣萬安強調，台北市一定會確保市民權益，不讓通勤服務中斷。基隆、台北、新北、桃園四縣市將開會研商對策，並呼籲中央儘速完成預算編列。
TPASS Budget Stalls Four Cities Urge Central Government to Prevent Service Cuts
The Taipei City Government says that this year’s TPASS subsidy from the central government has not yet been released, and the cities must rely on about 700 million NT dollars left from last year, which is expected to last only until the end of January. Taipei City needs to cover about 30 billion NT dollars, and half of the amount depends on central support.
Mayor Chiang Wan-an stresses that Taipei City will protect the rights of its citizens and will not let commuter services stop. Keelung, Taipei, New Taipei, and Taoyuan will hold a meeting to discuss solutions and call on the central government to complete the budget as soon as possible.

Huang Kuo-chang Says He Has Signed His Resignation Letter, Taiwan People’s Party Two-Year Rule Takes Effect
Taiwan People’s Party Chairman Huang Kuo-chang says that he has signed his resignation letter as a legislator to carry out the party’s “two-year rule,” and the other at-large legislators will also step down at the end of the month. He reveals that Ko Wen-je once hoped he would stay in the Legislative Yuan, but he stresses that the party must show that it has rules and order.
On whether Chen Gau-Tzu may receive special treatment under the two-year rule, Huang Kuo-chang says that the matter will be handled by Ko Wen-je and herself. The new legislators will take office on February 1 to avoid a long power gap.

Trump Says He Needs Greenland, Denmark Urges the U.S. to Stop Making Threats
U.S. President Donald Trump again says that he “absolutely needs Greenland,” and he has repeatedly expressed hope to bring Greenland into U.S. territory. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen says that this idea is “completely absurd,” and she urges the United States to stop threatening its allies and the people of Greenland.
Greenland’s Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen also criticizes Trump and says that linking Greenland with U.S. military action in Venezuela is wrong and disrespectful.
