第一則:台美關稅降至15%?協議最快1月中旬公布

台美貿易談判已進入最後階段,美國關稅可能從20%降至15%。台積電為回應美國半導體本土化需求,規劃在亞利桑那州增建至少五座晶圓廠。

Taiwan–US Tariffs May Drop to 15%? Deal Could Be Announced in Mid-January

Taiwan and the United States have entered the final stage of trade talks, and US tariffs may drop from 20% to 15%. TSMC in response to America’s push for local semiconductor production, plans to build at least five more fabs in Arizona.

Lawyers from both sides are now reviewing the agreement, and the result may be announced in mid-January this year. However, the U.S. Supreme Court will rule on January 14 on whether the administration’s tariff policy was legal, and this decision may still change the outcome of the talks.

國安基金在宣布結束歷時279天的護盤任務,並公布第四季財報。國安基金自進場以來,投入122.5億元,最終獲利約65億元,投報率達53%。

委員會表示,台股已創新高、基本面穩定,市場不再符合重大風險條件,因此國安基金決議立即退場。國安基金強調,未來仍會持續關注全球變局,必要時將再度啟動護盤。

The National Financial Stabilization Fund Ends 279-Day Market Support, Gains NT$6.5 Billion

The National Stabilization Fund announced the end of its 279-day market support mission and released its fourth-quarter financial report. Since the fund entered the market, it has invested NT$12.25 billion and earned about NT$6.5 billion, with a return of 53%.

The committee said that the Taiwan stock market has reached new highs and that market fundamentals are stable, so the market no longer meets the conditions of major risk. Therefore, the fund decided to exit immediately. The fund also stressed that it will keep watching global changes and will restart support if necessary.
