NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang arrived in Taiwan on January 29 and said that his first stop would be to visit TSMC founder Morris Chang and meet with TSMC Chairman and CEO C.C. Wei. Jensen Huang noted that NVIDIA’s Taipei headquarters will be located in the Beitou Shilin Technology Park, and said that the final design has not yet been made public, but will be even more impressive.

Jensen Huang also said that artificial intelligence is driving a new industrial revolution, but energy supply has become a major structural bottleneck worldwide. He stressed that the era of high-power AI data centers has arrived, and that power stability will directly affect industrial competitiveness, which also explains the need for TSMC to expand its global capacity.

The Narwhal will subsequently head to the waters south of Liuqiu Island to conduct deeper diving trials and combat system-related tests.
