The Taiwan Stock Exchange stated on April 1st that AI server demand led to a profit explosion in the semiconductor and computer sectors. However, the shipping, cement, and machinery industries saw a decline due to geopolitical risks and disaster losses.
In 2025, listed companies reached a total revenue of 47.6 trillion TWD, with profits growing nearly 11%. Overall, over 78% of companies remained profitable, building a strong foundation for future global economic growth.

Returning to the Moon After 53 Years! Artemis II Sets Off to Make History
NASA executed the “Artemis II” mission on April 2nd, marking the first time in 53 years that humans have flown to lunar orbit again. This 10-day project is led by Reid Wiseman, and includes the first female and African American astronauts to join a lunar mission. The team will focus on verifying the spacecraft’s ability to travel safely to and from space.
During the mission, the spacecraft will fly over the far side of the moon and is expected to set a new record for the farthest flight from Earth by humans.
