A suspected food poisoning incident has occurred at a spring roll stall in Zhengyi Market in Lingya District, Kaohsiung. The Kaohsiung Department of Health said that as of the afternoon of April 5, a total of 140 people had sought medical care, and some patient samples tested positive for Salmonella.
The Public Health Bureau noted that inspectors said the stall owner was suspected of hiding ingredients such as eggs and shredded pork and avoiding inspection. The Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office has also launched an investigation to determine whether the case involves criminal violations of the Act Governing Food Safety and Sanitation.

MIT Iceberg Index: AI May Replace 11.7% of the Workforce
A study by MIT shows that artificial intelligence already has the ability to replace about 11.7 percent of the U.S. workforce, with a wage value of about 1.2 trillion dollars. Researchers used the “Iceberg Index” to evaluate the work skills that AI could automate. The results suggest that white-collar jobs in finance, administration, and services may face significant impact.
At present, the real impact of AI adoption by companies is about 2.2 percent, which researchers describe as only the “tip of the iceberg.” As companies speed up the use of AI, the structure of the job market and career patterns may change significantly in the future.

Although talent agencies have introduced measures such as albums without physical CDs, carbon emissions continue to rise. Climate groups are calling for changes to bundled sales models and more digital options to reduce the environmental impact of overproduction.
