第一則：新北診所爆發急性 C 型肝炎群聚 1,118 人召回檢驗
新北市板橋安泰淞鶴診所爆發急性病毒性 C 型肝炎群聚， 11 名患者都曾於該診所接受注射，其中 9 人的病毒核酸序列相似度達近 100% 。
診所負責人表示，未在不同病人身上施打同一針頭。然而，疾管署查出診所有 9 項感染管制缺失，包括未落實手部衛生、將針頭留置於藥瓶及重複取藥等。衛生局已勒令診所停業並裁罰 30 萬元，並通知 1,118 名曾接受注射的民眾進行抽血檢驗。
New Taipei Clinic Linked to Acute Hepatitis C Cluster, 1,118 People Are Recalled for Testing
An acute hepatitis C cluster has been linked to Antai Songhe Clinic in Banqiao, New Taipei City. All 11 patients had received injections there, and viral genetic sequences from nine patients were nearly 100% similar.
The head of the clinic said the same needle was never used on different patients. However, inspectors found nine infection control failures, including poor hand hygiene, leaving needles inserted in medicine vials, and repeatedly drawing medicine from the vials. The New Taipei City Department of Health has ordered the clinic to close , fined it NT$300,000, and notified 1,118 people who received injections there to undergo blood tests.

Taiwan to Announce U.S. Investment？ U.S. May Impose New Chip Tariffs
U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said on September 2 that Taiwan is expected to announce between $20 billion and $30 billion in U.S. investment next week. The investment is part of the U.S.-Taiwan trade agreement. Taiwan previously pledged a combined $500 billion in investment and credit guarantees to support high-tech manufacturing in the United States.
The Trump administration is also considering a new round of semiconductor tariffs. The tariffs could expand beyond semiconductors themselves to products containing chips, including laptops and servers. Lutnick said companies that manufacture in the United States could receive tariff credits, encouraging more manufacturing to return to the country.

至於事後避孕藥是否改為非處方藥，食藥署參考日本做法，研擬「醫師處方」與「藥師指示」雙軌模式，民眾可持醫師處方取得藥物，或於藥師評估後購買，有就醫需求再由藥師轉介醫療院所，相關評估與配套最快明年初試辦。
Could Morning-After Pills Be Available at Pharmacies? Dual-Track System Could Be Piloted as Early as Next Year
The Ministry of Health and Welfare earlier proposed adding three medicines to its drug tracking system, including one abortion drug and two emergency contraceptive pills. After the public consultation ended, the ministry received comments whose main concerns were that the medicines could become harder to obtain, women’s right to make decisions about their bodies could be affected, and illegal sales could increase. The Taiwan Food and Drug Administration clarified that the system would only track the source and distribution of the medicines, not personal medication records.
Separately, the agency is considering whether emergency contraceptive pills should become available without a doctor’s prescription. Following Japan’s approach, it is studying a dual-track system. People could obtain the pills with a doctor’s prescription or buy them after an assessment by a pharmacist. Those needing medical care would be referred to a medical facility by the pharmacist. The proposed system and related measures could be piloted as early as the beginning of next year.
